Conxemar and the Sea2See Annual Meeting

My trip to Vigo (Spain) last week allowed me to kill two birds with one stone: visit Conxemar - an expo dedicated to showcasing seafood businesses and innovation - and participate in the annual Sea2See project meeting, which took place at our partner ANFACO’s headquarters.
Conxemar once again reminded me of why I find the seafood industry so exciting: the constant emergence of new products, initiatives, and technologies shaping the way the sector is organized. Seafood holds deep cultural and nutritional importance, and events like this reinforce my motivation to keep working towards positive change and healthier oceans.
With Sea2See only 8 months away from completion, this annual meeting was an opportunity to refine our final tasks and review the progress achieved so far. It’s been a great collective effort from all project partners, and I feel truly rewarded to be part of such an interdisciplinary and international team.
As the project approaches its final phase, I also feel more motivated to reflect on the next steps of my career, to hopefully continue to explore how digital tools and collaboration can drive sustainability and transparency regarding seafood, the oceans and the environment in general.
